February Featured Artist: Sheppard Morose
SHEPPARD MOROSE
Sheppard Morose studied at The School of the Art Institute in Chicago. As a past art director for Fleishmand Hillard in St. Louis and graphic designer for VSA Partners in Chicago, she uses her design strengths to create bold, colorful original paintings that transform interior spaces. Her niche has been to work directly with designers, architects and homeowners to create interiors that uplift and engage those who pass through. Some colorful, modern installations stretch three stories high in downtown loft spaces, while other nature inspired artwork promotes wellness in health facilities.
Modern artists and designers Mies Van der Rohe, Ellsworth Kelly, Helen Frankenthaler, Henri Matisse and Alexander Calder are her greatest influences. Her parents are her greatest inspiration.
Sheppard Morose is more than just an artist ...
